It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Dr. Robert Nowinski on June 25, 2020.  We have lost a wonderful colleague and highly skilled physician.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time of need.

About Dr. Nowinski

Robert J. Nowinski, DO, FAOAO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder. Dr. Nowinski graduated from John Carroll University, Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his medical internship and residency at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He completed a one-year fellowship in Shoulder Reconstructive Surgery at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. 

Dr. Nowinski is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the American Medical Association. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Nowinski has published more than twenty scientific articles, written several book chapters and lectured at several national and international meetings. He has privileges at Mt. Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital, New Albany Surgery Center,  and Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital.
