Dr. Stutzman is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hand and elbow surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand and Elbow Surgery. He has expertise in fractures, peripheral neuropathy (carpal tunnel syndrome), wrist and elbow reconstruction, as well as arthritis, tendon, and ligament injuries from fingertip to elbow.

Dr. Stutzman received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He then attended The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio and was a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Medical Student Honor Society, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree. He completed both his Internship and Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Stutzman then completed a Fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky where he was a member of the team that performed the second-hand transplant in the United States
Dr. Stutzman is involved in medical education and research has given numerous presentations on Orthopedic topics and published a number of articles in The American Journal of Orthopedics. He has served on advisory panels for new implants about the wrist and elbow and continues to be involved in the development of new techniques in regard to hand and elbow surgery. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Ohio University.
Dr. Stutzman resides in Johnstown, Ohio and enjoys an active lifestyle including golf and skiing, as well as a model aviation enthusiast.
