Degeneration in the shoulder joint can be caused by a variety of different factors. Understanding the causation of degeneration also assist in understanding how to treat it.
Common conditions and serious injuries that can lead to limited shoulder mobility:
- Dislocation – the humerus (long arm bone) is no longer where its suppose to be. This injury should be treated as an emergency. Seek medical attention.
- Fracture – broken bones should also be treated immediately by medical attention.
